  1. Paul Muni starred in *Juarez* with Bette Davis.
  2. This thread is not about Movie Characters--it's about real life Hollywood Lovers and is dedicated to Warren Beatty. Whenever we get gridlock--we'll return to Warren and start all over again.
  3. I'm a little waif of a dog--probably a terrier mix, but I co-starred in a movie that created a film legend. They called me "The Hard-Luck Dog". If that sounds familiar, you can name me, the movie and the name of the actor, who after this movie, always had his name above the title.
  4. My brother bought the 45 "Bird Dog" and the b/w was "Devoted To You". Those sure were the days.
  5. I'm all sung out--I defer to my estimed collegue, Fi. Fi's up--
  6. I have The Everlys on CD and play them all the time--I suppose "Poor Jenny" is my favorite. They remind me of my childhood--not just their music but the tumultuous relationship between siblings.
  7. Yeah, and I hope it's a real classic--If I have any say in the matter.
  8. *Inherit the Wind* is a great film and marvelous acting. Gene Kelly's line as H.L. Mencken is worth the price of admission--"Hello, Devil (to Tracy) welcome to Hell." Having said all that, the film is a deliberate mockery and indictment of The Bible and anyone who disagrees with evolution. I don't mind March dropping dead in the courtroom--he died a few days or a week later from the stress--they do have literary license. What I do mind is the hateful way all the Christians are presented in the film. We're not all idiotic and intolerant. But I suppose that's literary license too.
  9. Randy Newman's "You Can Leave Your Hat On"--from *The Full Monty* was a favorite of mine by Joe Cocker before Tom Jones sang it in the movie. Is "Baby Take Off Your Hat" a sequel?
  10. This is Judy's song from *Meet Me In St. Louis*-- "I just adore him-- So I can't ignore him The Boy Next Door" If you know another classic movie that had the audacity to use Judy's song--you're a better man than me.
  11. I sure do--and I love his "little" hats--Travis Banton. Oh, the studio was Paramount. Edited by: cujas on Feb 28, 2011 2:24 PM

  14. The guy you're referring to is Trigger??--I wasn't sure because we usually give the animal type as a clue. This was a very Baby Boomer question!
  15. Yes--One of my favorite actresses. Lavender do you have an animal question?
  16. As Finance would say--that's not what I'm thinking of-- but as I then say--it's still the correct answer! (FYI--my answer was Miss Young) CMVGOR it's all yours---
  17. Jean Shrimpton & Mick Jagger Next: Mick Jagger &
