They were like The Beatles--they split them between Smith and Clark.

Muddy--of course its the composers who Astaire and Skelton portrayed in *3 Little Words*--Kalmar and Ruby--mostly famous for writing for the Marx Bros.
Never Seen *3 Little Words*, I have the Eddie Fisher CD, that's How I know the song.
You're on your own with Joel McCrea--I didn't know he could sing.

Penultimate clue--Believe it or not, the married man's wife and the victim's husband band together to find the murderer of the singer. Despite her husband infidelity, this wife works hard to clear him. Ironically she's a singer, as well.

Nobody could forget the DC5--they were the Brit Invasion garage band! At one time their organist Mike Smith was as popular and as cute as Paulie.
I had a home juke box in the basement with the speaker in the ceiling. When I played "Bits & Pieces" my parents would threaten to pull the plug. It was the stomping that I liked the best. But I was only 12--and a group like that really didn't have a route for artistic development. They were just fun!

"Thinking of You" from MGM's *3 Little Words*--starring Fred Astaire.

I worked opposite all the biggies some of Hollywood's biggest stars--John Garfield and Norma Shearer, just to drop 2 names. And I had picture deals with 2 of the biggest studios--MGM & WB.
I myself was no small name in Hollywood--My adoring fans usually call me by my stage name, which was my character in my most memorable movie.
FYI--I'm a dog.

Is anybody gonna mention Cliff Richards and The Shadows--they deserve to be mentioned, I guess?

Eric Burdon was my favorite Invasion Lead singer--I always felt he was so much more professional and authenic than Jagger. There was a Chuck Berry song--"Around and Around" that they both played on their albums. Eric's vocal performance was superior-- while, of course The Stones instrumental back-up beat "The Animals" easily.

3--The last gentleman to visit her is targeted for the murder. Of course, he's a married man.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with "Henry the 8th"--and "Mrs. Brown" is passable. But, honestly no one "grooves" to Peter Noone. One groves to The Yardbirds and The Who.

This next one is, indeed, trivial but fun.
Can you name a Classic Film from the Golden Era with 3 billed supporting actors with the first name of Reginald. All three are key players, not doing bits or walk-ons.
