Yeah, you know that the airing on the 23rd (of *Rebel*) is because it's being shown on the Essentials, I found it rather odd, as they don't normally show a movie in a regular old time slot if they have it scheduled to be shown as an 'Essential' in the same month I mean...or do they?
-
Ah well, sorry for you :_| . But -- glad for me that it wasn't *Rebel! B-)* Seriously, I'm no Pat Boone fan but I hope they do air it for you sometime soon.
-
Well, I'm confused for you TopBilled, as I got my trusty old Sunday newspaper tv guide and it has *State Fair* (1962) starring Pat Boone and Bobby Darin scheduled for 10 p.m. eastern standard time. It follows *Jailhouse* *Rock* at 8 p.m. and *"precedes" Rebel w/o a Cause* which starts at midnight. Sooo...you might want to recheck.

Why did Vivien Leigh Make so Few Films?
mockingbird13 replied to JefCostello's topic in General Discussions
Yes, I know. She only made twenty screen appearances (including the ill-fated and uncredited *Elephant Walk*). Winning two Oscars wasn't too shabby though for the output, was it?! -

It was primarily because of her wanting to concentrate on the theatre and Olivier. But her manic depression hindered her some also, especially in the 1950's. If you're interested in alot of in-depth information on her, (including some rather disturbing accounts from some of her costars). There is an excellent site with loads of pictures called---VivandLarry.com---You have to register with the site to access alot of the pictures but if your a fan it's worth the trouble. -
