This reminds me of the behavior of ants. They search randomly until they find the fruit juice I didn't clean from my cutting board: infestation. So I clean. But scouts keep coming back because the area is now known as a source of food. But if I keep it clean, they eventually stop coming--and I can go back to being a slob again.
I believe the key is to clean with strong detergent the sides of cabinets and walls. Many insects create chemical trail between food and nest. To clean only top of counter leaves trail leading to countertop. It may require weeks or even months before chemical trail evaporates.

I am very sorry to have to report that major movie project has been cancelled.
The movie was to be family-oriented sports movie. Plot was that zany new president of a college hires fairy tale princesses to play on football team because opposing team would commit many holding penalties and would tend to chase even those who were not carrying the ball.
Princess Jasmine was to be running back because she is quick and agile.Belle was to be defensive tackle because she has experience fending off beasts.Main character was to be Cinderella as wide receiver. This role was so important that movie was to be named: CinderFeathers.The movie had to be cancelled because she kept running away from the ball.-

Would spammers know the bots were excluded, and therefore not pollute the messageboards?
I believe it would not be instantaneous. They do rotate which sites receive spam so that they may test effectiveness because changes in forum policing can mean spam is deleted prior to collection by bots. This is method by which they determine also best times of day to insert spam. Spammers eventually notice that posting spam to particular site does not change search-engine stats. They then drop that site in favor of dedicating computer time to other sites where their spam produces results.

Would love to see even one of her films! IT is a real tragedy that many, many films of the Golden Age no longer survive.

I would understand movies which were lost because movies were considered at the time to be ephemeral or because of technical issues. I feel much deeper loss when there was deliberate destruction of all prints and negatives of an era by political order.

Still not sure how whatever site is being promoted actually gets more hits from a search engine, since you'd need to either already know about that site in order to be searching for it, or bored enough to actually open what are very obviously spam posts (either in the forum postings, or from search results)?
Scenario: A spammer has a customer who sells: blue oranges. Spammer posts a thousand times a site name which is redirect to that customer's site. These posts mention: blue oranges. Google- and Bing-bots add one thousand to the number of times site was mentioned on open Internet. Bot software detects this site name is redirect and substitutes spammer's customer's site name in effort to sanitize data. It now seems to search engine that spammer's customer's site was mentioned one thousand times in connection with: blue oranges.
A search-engine-user who enters: 'blue oranges' in search field will be given list of sites offering them. Spammers' customer's site will be prominent in list because of thousand posts by spammer.
I believe that it must be remembered that spammers study extensively how bot data is collected, analyzed and used. They are experts in determining best ways to exploit procedures. They are experts in determining how to overcome each advance in anti-spam coding.
I believe that: TCM is: 'soft target' in that high priority has been placed on making it user-friendly. Anti-spam measures are inherently: user-unfriendly.

If you google the Korean for casino (카지노), then you get some links for Korean casinos, but none of these spam domains appear. Not sure why anyone would pay a spammer for this level of promotion...
I believe site name truly being promoted appears in body of post and not in title.
It is also that site name can be merely redirect. Bots automatically replace redirect with destination so as to prevent malicious redirects which often contain viruses.

Limiting new members posting rates/subject to their first x posts to automatic moderation.
This would require much more time investment by: Moderators. I suspect that: TCM wishes to limit costs of this forum as it does not result in income. I suspect that greatly increasing cost of forum is not an option.
Alternative might be for: TCM to remove this forum and expand their use of: Twitterings and: FaceSpace as means of connection to viewers. I am willing to endure this form of spam if it means forum remains open.
Adjustable Time-Outs between postings of at least a few minutes (especially upon new members), etc.
Spammers would need only reset posting interval in software.
I would like to see: Moderators' opinion of denying: Google- and: Bing-bots access to forum. I believe that this requires single line of code or a change in a setting. Removing bots' data-harvesting would remove benefit to spammers. I know that some forums have opted to do this. I doubt that being listed in search results brings many new legitimate users.

I believe that these important aspects of situation are being ignored by many:
1 - Most prolific spamming is not done for click-throughs. It is done so that: Google- and Bing-bots will find high number of particular sites' names. This skews collected data so that ranking of those sites will rise and cause them to be listed amongst most-popular sites when search-engine-users search for sites of that nature.
2 - Limiting number of posts by new users will not reduce spam and will create more work for: Moderators. Advanced software for spamming activity creates new user accounts with ease with no further input from: spammer. Choice for: forum-hosts is to see one hundred spam posts by one user or five spam posts by each of twenty users. Total number of spam posts does not change. The only thing which changes is number of user accounts which: Moderators must track down and delete. It is not more work for: spammers but is great deal more work for: Moderators.
3 - CAPTCHAs are not effective against modern spamming software. First significant software to recognize, interpret and respond to: CAPTCHAs automatically was created in: China approx. seven years ago. Great advances have been made since and it is now part of many advanced spamming software. It is fortunate that these programs are considered very high-level and are not readily accessible to majority of spammers. I believe most spam posted on this site is done by: spammers using software of that level.
There is balancing act between user-friendliness and vulnerability to intrusion. Advanced spamming software creates situation wherein reducing vulnerability will greatly increase inconvenience to users.
I believe best solution is one which Google and Microsoft resist greatly. Spamming such as this site experiences would be greatly reduced if: Google- and: Bing-bot findings would be adjusted to reject high number of multiple mentions of site in any one forum. This would remove biasing factor which is: spammers' goal. Google and Microsoft resist because it would mean extensive work in writing new software and it would be admission that they are reason for such spam.

I would be quite happy if any of her lost movies could be found and restored.

I feel as if LHF and I are battling for speedracer's soul.
I will be a little demon and add my support. I like the movie. I feel it is one of Kim Novak's best performances. There are elements which are very much over-the-top and the editing and dubbing were sub-contracted to Miss Clemson's third grade class but I feel it can be enjoyed by all despite its faults.

Dear Brigitte (1965) is scheduled for: 8:00 p.m. on: Monday, May 9. This is a Fox movie. I believe it may be a Premiere. It has not been aired since: 2002 if it is not a Premiere.
I like this movie very much for its innocence. I feel it is one James Stewart's classic performances as he is at his dithering beset best.
I did feel a moment of unease while watching the movie when: Erasmus became very seriously thoughtful. I feared there might be a new occupant in the cornfield.

TCM will no longer publish schedules or make announcements of which movies are to air. Viewers will have to leave their televisions tuned to TCM constantly to know what is playing.
This is believed to be a win-win for TCM because of the costs it will save and it will reduce the number of complaints that changes were made to schedules, mistakes were made in schedules and that certain movies are scheduled more often than some viewers wish.

If you hook an antenna (outdoor or indoor) to your HD TV, you can receive these stations without a cable or satellite box.
This is true only if you live in or near to major cities and depends on topography. We are an hour's drive from a major city and the only way to receive over-the-air channels here is to **** a tower. It is common knowledge here that you must spend several hundred dollars for proper tower and antennas.
Edit: I mean that you must build a tower. It seems that the auto-censor disapproves of the 'e' word.

I did not include this movie in my list because I did believe that it was: Disney. I have checked now and found that it is: DreamWorks.
I like this movie very much but I must wonder how many parents of young children were aghast at some of the innuendos.

My Top (non-Disney) Animated Films
16. Chicken Run (2000)
I am very happy to see this in some other poster's list. I am near to love with this movie.
I feel that it works on many levels. Children with no exposure to classic movies enjoy the story greatly. Those of us who are familiar with classic prison-camp movies enjoy the parallels. The movie cited most often as source is: The Great Escape (1963) but I see elements of several other: WWI and: WWII movies.
