Apparently there is a way to do it. I've been individually IM'd in chat rooms with obscene messages (and I don't even have IM or ICQ)...these hackers obviously know how to know my IP numbers.

It IS compelling! Or consider the folks who use their work and home computers at different times of day/ evening. I'd be curious to see "whose paths never seem to cross at the same moment". Man, we're thinking bizarre stuff.

Me too. I wonder if some aren't incognito though. Anytime you get a new puter or use a different IP addy, you can change your whole identity.
