Thanks, that's not it either. This film is a story of two parrallel lives. Present and past. The young woman has her castle being used by an invading country where she is attracted to the prince, duke (something like that). She has given her hand in marriage to another prince who has fled the country to save his life. While this is all going on her ancestor who haunts the castle (played by the same character as the woman) and tries to keep her great granddaughter(i guess that's what she is) from falling in love with the invading prince. Throughout the movie there is singing and dancing. It has a bit of comedy also.

Thanks, but thats not it. I believe it goes farther back then Jack. I want to say that maybe someone like Betty Grable or another famous blonde played in it. It was definitely one of the older movies when singing and dancing were very big. It had a bit of comedy in it also. Thanks anyway.

I am trying to find the name of a movie and I don't have much information about it. It is an older movie but not b&w, about a castle that is haunted by a woman trying to protect the woman living there from falling in love with some knight or something. There was a lot of dancing and singing. The actress played both the roles of the ghost and the woman. I know this isnt much to go on but any help you can give me would be appreciated
