  1. Last year the Vanity Fair party was held at a restaurant called "Pig n' Whistle". It is a couple of blocks away from Graumans Chinese theater. I don't know if TCM will hold the party there again this year though.
  2. "NOTE: only CDs and books purchased at the festival will be signed by the celebrities, so don't bother bringing photos DVDs or other items from home to be signed." -Is it true that celebrities will not sign anything that wasn't purchased at the festival? Did someone experience this problem last year? I went to the festival last year but did not get anything signed by anyone. So if I bring something from home (like a poster, picture, or DVD) Debbie Reynolds or Mickey Rooney will not sign it? Will I need to show a receipt or something? What is the protocol for those who had gotten a celeb to

I hope that Festival souvenirs will be available for sale at the Roosevelt Hotel like they were last year. Thoughts anyone? Edited by: ellegirl24 on Apr 4, 2011 3:16 AM
  5. TCM said they will choose the grand prize winner on or around April 1st.
  6. I just wanted to mention that the Days Inn on Sunset Blvd. was a pretty good place to stay. I thought it was affordable, and it's two blocks away from the Roosevelt Hotel.
  7. I'm trying to decide which pass level to buy. Did anyone with the Classic or Essential pass have trouble getting into the programs you wanted? Was anyone turned away?
  8. Thank for your responses! I also got the 9x4 Festival Programming Guide with the silhouette of Fred Astaire on the front. I am referring to a large white booklet that was 11x8 and had the silhouette of Gloria Swanson on the front. Did those of you with the Essential pass get that booklet?
  9. If you were an Essential passholder at the 2010 TCM Festival, did you get a permanent commemorative booklet?
  10. Happy Birthday, Mr. Osborne! Leave a comment here if you want to wish Robert Osborne a Happy Birthday today.
