  2. In 1944, the Oscar for the best song went to "You'll Never Know" (just how much I miss you...) by Harry Warren and Mack Gordon. It was sung by Alice Faye in the movie "Hello Frisco, Hello". Some say it won because it was appropriate for the times...when most of our servicemen were overseas fighting a war...Anyway, I think the song was in the soundtrack of the three films you mentioned...

     

    By the way, Miles, what happened to the songs and movie music threads ?
