  2. Clue:... In every episode of the series, the people are almost always traveling west...One of these episodes featured a white man who was captured by and spent time with Native Americans. This was based on a short story by a famous female western short story writer from Montana. More than ten years later this was re-made into a movie starring the original Dumbledore... Two other short stories by the same author were earlier made into western movies featuring several Oscar winners...Between the two movies, there are three Best Actor winners in one and two in the other. Of the Best Supporting Actor winners, there is one in each movie...You should have enough data to know who the authoress is and the movies and series mentioned.

  12. That's correct....and some people believe that Hollywood did Mr. Ray an injustice. The story is in IMDB under Satyajit Ray and also on Wikipedia under "The Alien-Satyajit Ray"...for those unfamiliar with Ray, a good place to start is his masterpiece "Pather Panchali", a young boy's story set in a small village in India...
