  9. I was born in Chicago and first appeared on film as a troubled youth indoctrinated into Nazism. This role won me praise and received good reviews. I did work frequently during my teens, mostly in troubled youth roles. I never became a star, but remained a character actor playing villains in westerns and crime dramas. As my movie career faded, I turned more and more to TV roles. I was a series regular in a TV crime show in the early sixties and again in a medical show in the early seventies...Do you know me?

  15. This gifted actor first appeared on the Broadway stage at age 13 and stayed for about ten years. He was friends with a much older torch singer who advised him not to appear in "Sunset Boulevard" and also "High Noon", although he probably would have been perfect for the parts, especially "High Noon" where I think Cooper was a little too old as a newlywed.. He was nominated three times for a Best Actor Oscar and once for supporting actor......Both singer and actor had to deal with tragedies later...Who were they ?
