  1. When I was a boy in the fifties, I remember seeing "Masterson of Kansas", one of those George Montgomery B-westerns. In it, the great character actor James Griffith played Doc Holliday. He was so good he played the same role later in the Buffalo Bill Jr TV series..The same year that Masterson was released, 1954, Griffith also played Pat Garrett in "The Law vs Billy The Kid" with Scott Brady as Billy. In 1955, he played President Abraham Lincoln in the Bill Williams western, "Apache Ambush", with Tex Ritter in a supporting role. Then in 1956, he was Davy Crockett in "The First Texan" starring Joel McCrea. And before all of that, he was William Quantrell in "Fighting Man Of The Plains", a 1949 Randolph Scott western with Dale Robertson as Jesse James....Once a musician with Spike Jones and His City Slickers, Griffith died in 1993 at the age of 77...

    *Bobby Breen* (born November 4, 1927) is a [Canadian|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada|Canada]-born actor and singer of the 1930s. He made his professional debut at age four in a night club in [Toronto|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto|Toronto] and was an immediate sensation. He made his radio debut soon after. He played in [vaudeville|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaudeville|Vaudeville] and his sister paid for his musical education. Breen went to [Hollywood|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood|Hollywood] in 1935. His first major appearance was on [Eddie Cantor|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Cantor|Eddie Cantor]'s weekly radio show in 1936, and he soon became the leading child star at [RKO Studios|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RKO_Pictures|RKO Pictures]. He is best remembered today for his films, and for the fact that he was a [boy soprano|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_soprano|Boy soprano].     He continued working as a singer in nightclubs and a musical performer in stock theatre, later serving as a guest pianist for the NBC Symphony Orchestra on radio, and hosting a local TV show in New York.
