Never could dance, even in my teens. You know that song "I've Got Rhythm"?... Well, I never got it.
Here's one up your alley, Miles...from an old movie:
" She taught me one thing,
Love is only what you make it;
And I know one thing,
She can dish it out and I can take it.
We both want a family,
I want twins, so does she..."
(next comes the title of the song).
Song title? Singer? Movie?...The scene and song are on You Tube.

I thought about Sophia Loren, but I didn't know Charlie had a cameo role in "A Countess From Shanghai". I thought only Sydney and Geraldine were in it...

"Honey-Babe", composed by Max Steiner and lyrics by Paul Francis Webster, was a marching song in the movie "Battle Cry"...

I'm sorry, my mistake. You're right, Terrence and thanks for reminding me.... Actually, now that you mentioned it, when the movie first came out I remember thinking James Stewart was a little too old for Carroll Baker...Now that time is creeping up on me, seeing the same last names in the movie, I just assumed that Carolyn Jones played his wife..I guess I should have played it safe and just picked June Allyson or Doris Day instead, but I wanted the question to be a little harder...Anyway, Fi gave the right answer in spite of my question being wrong, he still has the thread...

Verrrry good, Fi. That's it....Vera Miles in "The FBI Story"(1959) , Carolyn Jones in "How The West Was Won"(1962) , Jean Hagen in "Carbine Williams"(1952), and Glynis Johns in "Dear Brigitte"(1965) ....Your thread.

"A Needle In A Haystack", with music by Can Conrad and lyrics by Herb Magidson, was sung and danced by Fred Astaire in "The Gay Divorcee" (1934)....Here's a clip from You Tube:

Thanks...Here's a song from a 1937 movie featuring a well-known actor/singer:
"Over the sea let's go men,
We're shoving right off, we're shoving right off again.
Nobody knows where or when,
We're shoving right off, we're shoving right off again.
It may be Shanghai,
Farewell and goodbye.
Sally and Sue, don't be blue
We'll just be gone for years and years and then,
We're shoving right home again.."
Singer, song, movie ?

Patricia Ellis from Birmingham, MI, who was a WAMPAS baby and co-starred with James Cagney in "The St. Louis Kid", Jack Haley in "Here Comes The Groom", and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr in "The Narrow Corner"...She also co-starred with Mickey Rooney in "Down The Stretch" and was in at least 2 or 3 pictures with Joe E. Brown...

Since I already answered Fi's question, I believe I'm up...
1950s:-- Two popular actors were on the set of a movie they were filming.
First Actor:... "You live in Palm Springs, I'd like to get a house there. Do you know of any good houses?"
Second Actor:..."I'll sell you my house. I'll give it to you for a hundred thousand dollars."
First Actor..."What do you mean? That's nothing. What's the catch?"
Second Actor:.."You will it to me."
The first actor was outraged by the notion that the second actor (who was much older) was going to outlive him and get the house back...
Questions: Who were the actors and what was the movie they were filming ?

Thanks for putting this up, Flash. Audie Murphy was my idol years ago when I was young...The "Dog Face Soldier Song" was Audie Murphy's 3rd Infantry Division's song and was heard in the movie "To Hell And Back" several times...Here are two versions of the song, the first is a tribute to Audie. The second one has lyrics, and was posted, ironically, by no less than someone from Heidelberg, Germany...
