  1. Ah, Tom Tryon was a very good actor and writer..."The Other"(1971) is a classic horror novel and should be up there with " Dracula"...His second novel, "Harvest Home" (1973) is very well written and is much better than Stephen King's Children Of The Corn"(1977)....Your thread, Cujas.

  3. "Eufemia" from the movie "Sombrero" is correct...Here's a clip of Ricardo, Rick Jason, and Vittorio Gassman singing the song, which was actually "Carta A Eufemia", a big hit for the Mexican actor/singer Pedro Infante from the movie "Si, Mi Vida" (1951):

  4. Correct..."Ten Thousand Bedrooms" was Dean Martin's first movie after his break-up with Jerry Lewis, and there was actually some concern whether he can make it alone. But then came "The Young Lions", a few more hit songs, and the Rat Pack...They should have given the lovely soprano, Anna Maria Alberghetti, more songs to sing...Your thread, Miles.

  6. Ok, Flash, you can stop giving hints now...It's the "Kraft Suspense Theater" with the 1965 episode "The Easter Breach" starring Richard Beymer and a TV actress named Katherine Crawford in a dual role...(....Say, did Richard Beymer really lived in the desert for awhile just like John Drew Barrymore...?)

  7. The Jeremiah Johnson song was sung by Tim McIntire, who co-wrote it eith John Rubinstein...

    Next:...song from a musical:

    "Because I held you in my arms one lovely night,

    ...........

    And the twinkle in your eyes put all the stars to shame;

    Because I kissed you when I felt my heart take flight,

    ..........

    I would like to know you better, so I've written you this letter

    And to tell you that Pepe is my name..."

    Song? Movie? Performer?
