Hi! There's a movie whose title and actors escapes us. The plot was about a woman author whose books are considered scandalous by the other women of her town. She writes the stories under a pen name, so no one initially knows who the author really is. We recall the movie being black and white, perhaps in the 1930's or 1940's. The main character's last name (or her pen name) was Adams. Any help would be of great help. Thanks, Rita and Scott
