Thank God for the men who served, fought, and died in uniform.
I enjoyed the marathon on Memorial Day weekend. But I am astounded that while this nation is fighting two wars there is almost no programming to commemorate the anniversary of D-Day. With Hollywood's contribution to morale on the home front the lack of even 1 movie is a surprise on D-Day. June 6th is always on the heels of Memorial Day but this year but has much less programming than has been usual.
The largest surprise is the limited programming on the many history, documentary channels of my cable system.

Why are there no WWII movies on today? The Longest-Day would be t he most appropriate but nothing? Kinda disappointing.

The are numerous Amish and Mennonite communities in parts of KY. Maybe the horse's owner is from one of these religious communities?
