Salty ORouke(Alan Ladd)a big time gambler and his pal Smitty(William Demerest)are tracked down by Doc Baxter(Bruce Cabot)and his henchman,Babe(Rex Williams)over a debt owed by Saltys partner.Salty tells Baxter he will pay if his horse wins in a race. Salty finds a jockey,Johnny Gates(Stanley Clements)a wise punk who agres to ride for Salty for part of the winnings.Problems start when Johnny has to go to school or he cant race. Johnny meets Barbra Brooks(Gail Russell)the local school teacher who he falls for.Barbra takes an instant dislike to Johnnys ways. Salty meets Barbra and they both fall in love.Angry at the rejection,Johnny goes to Baxter and plans with the mobster to double cross Salty. Great Film,but never on.

Nancy(Laraine Day)is about to marry wealthy,John willis(Gene Rayburn)but at the last minute,Norman Clyde(Robert Mitchum)a down and out artist,comes forward.. Norman claims Nancy was once married to him and in a flashback tells their story. Nancy while a young child,was the daughter of the housekeeper.The rich ladies daughter gives Nancy a valuable locket.Angry,the rich women demands the locket back,but soon after its lost. Santa Claus Conquers The Martians.What a DUD.They had it for sale last year for TWO BUCKS.Even that was way over priced.

Was this the worst film ever made or were their others?I saw Scary Movie last night or half of it.Just stupid and disgusting.(Compared to this they should have given Killer Tomatoes an Oscar or at least a Flying Plate LOL) Another Winner,They saved Hitlers Brain.YIKES.(It must have cost $50 bucks to make this)

Kill Or Be Killed(1950)One of LTs worst films.I dont blame Leonard Maltin for giving this One Star.(Id pass on this one)

The Treat(1949)Red Kluger(Charles McGraw)a brutal,sadistic killer escapes from Folsom.Along with him is Lefty(Frank richards)and Nick(Anthony Caruso)Along the way they pick up Klugers mistress,Carol(Virginia Grey) Klugers mission,to pick up DA McDonald(Frank Conroy)who sent him tp prison,and tough cop,Det Williams(Michael OShea)who arrested him,kill them and get to Mexico. After Williams and McDonald are picked up by the gang and their time is short.Williams has a plan that could perhaps save their lives. Great film.Dont miss. http://www.impawards.com/1949/threat.html
