Pretty good film noir thriller with George Sanders as the villian.Good Cast,Gail Patrick,Richard Denning,Sidney Blackmer,Kurt Katch,etc

Stan and Ollie work in a horn factory,but Ollie is going mad listening to horns.the boss tells him to go home and call a doctor.
The doctor(James Finlayson)tells him he needs a sea voyage.
The boys rent a boat on the ****,but an escaped gangster,Nick Granger(Richard Cramer)hides aboard as the boat deifts off to sea.
Nick orders them to fix him something to eat,but the boys have none,so they get odds and ends to look like food,tape for bacon,tobacco juice for coffee,paint for sauce,etc,but the boys dont know Nick is watching.When they call him to eat,he orders the boys instead to eat or Nick JR(His Gun)will shoot them.
Laurel and Hardy at their BEST.
There were two endings
1 Stan and Ollie capture Nick and are in a parade with Ollie playing a horn,cured of his hornphobia.
2 Stan plays his horn,Ollie beats up Nick and when the police come they ask how they captured him.Stan blows the horn,Ollie again goes crazy and beats up the cop.The cop takes them in to Nicks cell and Ollie snarls at Stan,Heres another fine mess youve gotten me into.

Dr Ernest Sovac(Boris Karloff)lives on Newsastle college with his daughter,Jean(Anne Gwyne)Ernest best friend is Prof George Kingsley(Stanley Ridges)leaving Newscastle for a better position.
The prof is caught between a crossfire by mobster,Red Cannon(Ridges)and his mob,Eric Marney(Bella Lugosi),Miller(Edmund MacDonald),Kane(Paul Fix)and Devore(Raymond Bailey).
Both Kingsley and Cannon are badly wounded.Sovac decides the only way to save Kingsley life is to give him part of Cannons brain.
After the return to Newscastle,Kingsley is the gentle Prof,by night hes evil Red Cannon getting revenge against his mob and mistress(Anne Nagel)
At the last minute Karloff and Ridges traded parts.
Not only one of the best gandster films of all time,but also one of the best horror films.

1865.As the Civil War comes to an end,Zeb Bascomb(Wallace Berry)his sidekick,Bart Yancey(J Carrol Naish)and the gang rob a bank but the lawmen are waiting and it turns into a miserable failure where most of the gang are killed.
Zeb and Bart come across a Morman wagon train and the good folks(Margret OBrien,Marjorie Main,etc)help change Zeb and Bart from their evil ways.
One of the last MGM Westerns.
