WOW!! First off I want to tell you *HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE* the effort that you took to clarify things for me. I saw this movie some time in the mid - late 80's as well on the Nos Channel . . Although I never saw the film in its entirety, the parts I was privileged to see, left an impact on me all these years later. . .and seeing the screen shots brought it all back in one emotional swoop. I truly got stirred up (teary eyed) again. I had been trying to find name of this film for the past four years and only wished that I thought of seeking the info in a forum earlier. Again *Thank You Thank You Thank You* for talking the trouble, I agree it is such a wonderful film and your effort was well worth it to me.

I need help confirming if summary below is part of the flash back scences, when the boy was sick. The son is could be 8-12 years old (I don?t remember exactly), but the father is always on his case about chores, responsibility, etc. Well one day the boy gets really sick, turns out its pneumonia or something and the father?s love come shinning through. He goes back and forth via horse and buggy in the rain to get a doctor or medicine, or something for his ailing son.
