I remembered a little more about this film. There were only 3 secretaries. At one point of their song, all 3 sat on their 3 (side-by-side tables/desks) and sang facing the camera, smiling. I just remember they were happy or the 'story' they were telling to the people on the phone was funny. I'm somewhat sure the plot of the musical was about their 'boss' ending up with the female lead, so it was a lighthearted romantic musical.

Sorry, I can't remember what else happened. I think one of the men was the woman's husband or her ex-husband. But, I could just be getting this movie mixed up with The Little Hut, since the storylines are similar. If I remember anything more detailed, I'll post it.

Yeah, I'm sure the movie was made at the latest, the 60s, but most likely 50s or before. I must say, the movie you gave the link to seems...unique.

You've been a great help with finding out what the 2nd movie was. I'll keep looking for what that other one was. Sometimes I wish I had photographic memory. Thanks for the heads up on the ending, which I don't remember. I only saw it once, in the middle of the night, years ago, so when I watch it again, it'd be like I'm watching it for the first time. You are so right; they sure can get away with a lot when it's a comedy.

Thank you so much! Too Many Husbands is the movie. I adored the characters. I started watching it because it was the best thing on at the time and it seemed like it would be entertaining. However, I didn't think I'd end up liking it as much as I did. Thanks to you, I can now get the DVD!

Hi! Does anyone know of a classic film (60s' and before), filmed in color, about 2 men and 1 woman stranded on an island. I think it was a romantic comedy. Both men liked the woman and she might've tried to make them jealous. I also read that a similar movie was released by another studio the same year, so this one was postponed for a little while. I thought it was "The Little Hut" but that's not the movie. When I try searching for the title, I get the same list of 'stranded' films, none of which are the one. The 2nd film is about a woman whose husband was missing only to have her husband come back later. It was filmed in black and white. It was a romantic comedy, a love triangle, between the wife, missing husband, and husband's best friend. I can't remember any of the actors' names from both these films, so my seach is difficult. Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I'll add Bye Bye Birdie to my list of movies to check. I only remember that women were singing the song, about 3-5, but I can only remember part of it, so there's a chance it could be that movie. Oh, I wish I could know for sure which movie it could be. I feel like Al Bundy when he was trying to find a song and he only knew 3 notes of it. lol.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure if those are the movies until I see the actual scene. I'll see if I can rent them. I remembered something about the scene. The secretaries? were singing to people over the phone and even though they were all talking to different people, the song made it seem like they were singing to the same person, probably because they were singing about the same subject. I remember watching this musical where the whole song had women, secretaries maybe, singing about a man or event. They were all on different phones, sitting next to each other. I think it might have been the opening scene of the musical. It was also filmed in color. Thanks in advance for any help.
