Folks: I haven't seen this movie in a long time and I wish I could remember the name. The story line evolves around these stones/crystals that suck the moisture out of the Earth and grow into tall spires. Once they reach a certain height they collaspe and destroy everything in their path. Ever encroaching on a city until the populous finds a solution to stop them. I believe it is salt. Your help in remembering this movie would be greatly appriciated.
