omg thank you so much that IS the movie. I knew victor mature was in it but when i looked him up that movie wasn't listed thank you so much to everyone else who helped as well!

I watched on TCM some time ago but I can only remember vaguely the plot, so here it goes: There is a man who is in the military who gets engaged to this curvy spanish woman (I think was spanish or latina because of her thick, probably fake, accent) who he met because she sang to the rest of the military men. The man gets an offer for a large amount of money but in order to get it I think he had to court another mans wife. To keep the wife's husband away the man had his other military friends call in fake meetings that would require him to leave town so the other guy could court his fiancee. He ends up falling in love with the mans fiancee, as does she, and the spanish women he was engaged to leaves him despite her buying a wedding dress and everything. It is really hard for the man to get through to the women but her little sister (who was also singing in the movie) helps convince her to give him a chance. The man tries to get the women to leave her fiancee because he knows she hates that he's always gone and they're in love, so she plans to do it when he returns. The man comes back at this fancy party after finally catching on to the fake meetings and calls, finds his wife, tells her what happens and then the wife finds out who the man is and how he was involved with the grand scheme. I can't remember if they turn out being together but they probably do. IF ANYONE knows the movie i'm talking about please please give me the title thanks!
