2 or 3 years ago, in the fall I believe, TCM played a movie I fell in love with. I was only able to see the final scenes, but what I got out of it was that it was about the French King being kidnapped by a rogue noble, and he was replaced secretly by his twin brother, who was just and kind (probably more so than the original king) but he was avantly loyal to his brother and tried all in his power to free him and restore him to the throne.

 

I've been searching for years, but the only answer I've been give was the 1939 Man in the Iron Mask, but after seeing countless clips of it I am nearly certain that is not it.

 

One thing I remember keenly was that though it obviously was during the time of Monarchies in Europe, that apart from sabers, everyone seemed to have modern looking pistols, I think colt .45s. I don't know if that might make it any clearer. And there was a love romance with the Queen and the King's Brother.

 

If no one can help me uncover the title of this movie, I'll ask is there possibly a movie arcchive list on this website, that might have the schedule of movies they aired in 2007 or 8? I might be able to find it there.
