[What is the title of this movie? Please Help!]

A summer or two ago I was watching a movie, but fell asleep, and only began watching it halfway through.

 

I remember this scene vividly, so hopefully it's enough.

 

A little girl was with her parents in their apartment. They were going to go out to eat, but they would not let the little girl bring her stuffed animal or purse. So she refused to go with them. As soon as they were out of sight, she began to yell that she was hungry out the window. A crowd gathered, and they sent food to her.

 

I remember something about a girl coming home from the grocery store, a boy falling out of a window, and children sneaking into the movie theater.
