  1. I know. He got a lot of use out of that being his worst film.
  2. Did they really find it necessary to take a photo of Bud Abbot looking at the news of his partner's death? Come on.
  3. I rarely watch TCM these days. I don't care for most of the stuff they are showing now. I don't go for much after 1960. I like the old films. Then I saw the scedule for New Years Eve and.. what a surprise. Nick and Nora are spotlighted again! And That's Entertainment. Bah! It's bad enough that they show the same old same old on Halloweeny. Although I'm pleased that they celebrate Claude Rains' birthday with a tribute, they don't do so for Lugosi and even if they only have four or five of his films, they could at least make the effort. No. I'm not really a fan anymore. Looking forward to MeTV's cartoon Saturdays coming in January.
  4. LOL! maybe both. No, in all honesty, it was the Mr. Bubble containers. I seem to remember spraying foam on the tile wall, but I can't remember why...
  5. Oh, I thought the same thing! I would love to see the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show again. After everything that's been going on this year, the happy days of the Cold War seems so... so... small. Good ol' Bullwinkle who studied at the Watchmaker's University, otherwise known as Tick Tock Tech!
  6. Anybody have any comment on this? Beginning in January MeTV is bringing back cartoons on Saturday mornings. One can only hope that Hercules will be included...
  7. It's darker than that pretty car you posted. More green than blue, like I said. You better go out and get yourself a giant box of Crayolas and find the blue/green crayon. That's the color of this car.
  8. I can't stop to take a photo. The house is on a busy street. But the car looks to have been a wreck at some point and painted that weird blue/green.
  9. Nope. It's more blue/green. It doesn't look like a stock color to me.
  10. A fellow Sven fan at work said he saw the ad for this film coming up on Svengoolie. He thought the monster looked fakey stupid. I gave him the history about the film and Ray Harryhausen, the history behind this incredible animator, and the writer Ray Bradbury. It's a wonderful film, one of those we kids grew up with and feared and cheered. Who doesn't like a monster that eats cops? Anyway, I'm not a fan of the way the monster is treated and wonder what would happen in today's world. Would the army be called in to shoot the beast? Would scientists try to capture the monster and study it?
  11. Gee. I thought she kept her figure. At least she had that going for her.
  12. Hmm... I'll let you know if I see it again in my travels.
  13. Makes you wonder if this guy entered the hot dog eating contest at Coney Island. You know what I mean?
  14. I am loving the lineup they have today. I'm looking forward to Two On a Guillotine as that was one of the first films that my father decided I should watch with him. Mind you, I was just a little girl and it scared me to death. House on Haunted hill was the next one. I can hear Pop to this day... "You want to watch a spooky movie, kid?" Our horror host at the time was Feep, a guy dressed in a silver space suit with a lightbulb head who came out of a radio dial.
  15. I think I actually tune into House of Wax for the paddle guy...
  16. YES!!! This is the film that introduced me to Norm. When I got into the Hitchcock television series, I often wondered if this producer man was the same as the bad guy in Saboteur.
  17. I spotted a 67 Ford Stang the other day that was painted a bizarro teal blue that I have a feeling is not a factory color. But she sure was purty.
  18. I'm looking forward to a friend of mine seeing this picture for the first time.
