  1. Frank McGlynn, Sr in the in The Littlest Rebel with Shirley Temple. I never get tired of the scene where the kid is sitting on Lincoln's lap and they're sharing an apple.
  2. I have some Bugs Bunny stamp collectable stamps and the Universal monsters, but I got tired of going to the post office and asking if they had any monster stamps, so my collection is limited. I wish I had been on some sort of postal listing where they would announce new celebrity stamps, if there ever was one. I would have loved to have the Bonanza collection.
  3. Someone told me once that the film Gung Ho (1943) was the first instance of blood on film from gunfire. Hershey's syrup, of course.
  4. Not my favorite. And so many scenes were cut out. I honestly could never make it out heads nor tails. John Karlen's first foray to learning to ride a bike. If you watch the series, these main characters were so long gone from the show to make the movie, such as it was.
  5. The Monster From Pietras Blancas 1959 You know, it never ceases to amaze me when I come across a really bad movie that I haven't seen before. I thought I'd seen them all! The monster's outfit reminded me of the gilman's costume from Creature with a big black zipper in the back. Les Treymayne is our major star here. Boy, he must have been hard up for cash. Actually, the major star of this picture is the half Jeep/half golf cart that the whole town takes advantage of. "Want to take the Jeep?" Oh, yeah!! I have no clue what type of vehicle this thing is, but it looks like a lot of fun. It's got a Jeep grille, but other than that, I have no clue what this thing was. All in all a nice little Halloweeny journey into escapism. A freebie from Amazon Prime and I wonder if Prime is worth it.
  6. Whatever happened to those million dollars anyway?
  7. I've got a crummy copy of Crowhaven farm, a made for TV movie and I suppose that will have to do. In the meantime the leaves are falling, making way for the upcoming snow...
  8. The Devil Bat. "Just a little application on the tender part of your throat... AACK!
  9. I'm trying to find something spooky to watch tonight on Amazon Prime, but every time I look something up, it's buy or rent. I wanted to watch Return of Dracula with Frances Lederer and Curse of the Undead with Michael Pate. Why aren't these movies available to watch for free? The Think That Wouldn't Die is another. Blast!
  10. I'm watching a Simon & Garfunkel concert on the You Tube thing. My god, were we ever that young???
  11. The only complaint I have is that they start each day at midnight. I printed out the schedule and was confused at the start times. I think they used to start each morning at 6:00.
