Wait a minute. Did they create this dance or did they copy it from the Ritz Brothers?

I made it to 43 seconds and that was more than enough. That's a man, right?

I opted to watch Dracula's Daughter, the DVD double feature with Son as I cannot stand Svengoolie butchering these classics.

You could be driving a '67 Mustang at 120 MPH and the Mummy would still catch you.

Films hard to find - Please make available on TCM
Janet0312 replied to vbehappy's topic in General Discussions
I have completely given up any semblance of hope that TCM will find and air The Man Who Reclaimed His Head, Remember Last Night?, The Kiss Before the Mirror and any other A rated film that Universal put out in the thirties. -
I thought Eddie went overboard on his like of this film. I've never been a fan of Robert Young and am not really a fan of this picture. In fact, I fell asleep this morning watching it.

Found the set Drac's Daughter and Son on Amazon for eleven bucks. I'm all set, kids.

Nah. The great, great, great grandson!

Uh oh. Something's come unhinged d. -
This is another classic Universal that I hate to see Svengoolie make fun of. I wish I could just sit down and watch this creepy film without commercials or commentary.

Very cool. Thanks!

Had no idea lime flavored Jello affected one so...

Hey, folks. I toured this ship when it was harbored in Gloucester, Mass some years ago. Somebody said it was later scuttled. I was wondering if anyone here knew why.

Actress Dame Diana Rigg (1938-2020)
Janet0312 replied to MikaelaArsenault's topic in General Discussions
Wonderful photos, you guys! I loved Diana Rigg. We used to watch her in The Avengers back in the 60's. She was so cool. Always wished she would have hooked up with Steed, but it was not meant to be. If boys wanted to be Steed, the girls wanted to be Mrs. Peel. She was so cool. -
Ghost of Drag Strip Hollow 1959 I generally check Amazon Prime on Thursday night to see if there's anything worth watching when I get home from work. This is the start of my weekend and I like to start it off with a funky movie. This one did not disappoint. An American International feature, it centers mostly on drag strip singing teenagers, grooving to rock and roll. It was very typical of the schlock that AIP turned out at the time and most enjoyable if you like this sort of thing. You can even get the recordings on American International Records if you so desired in the day as mentioned in the credits. I've got to look that up online and see if they're still available. Anyway, I recommend it to those of you who are fans of bad film making.

Well, I imagine they could only go so far with it back in the day. If it were made today, there'd be no question.

Summer Under the Stars usually kills it for me. I was very happy to see Eddie again.

The part where Jill is desperate to see the dead body, desperate to the point of climax.

I just saw the most amazing car. It was a Mopar car... Chrysler. A bee yoo tee ful blue. I made it to be around 1967, perhaps a Dodge Dart. OMG,JIM! It was gorgeous! I have a friend at work who bought a Plymouth Fury and brother, does he get comments on it. It's a convertible. He put two skeletons in the back bench seat for laughs. The length of the car is about forty-seven feet. It goes on and on. What a car! My bucket list includes an antique car. My first car was a 1977 Plymouth Duster Sport Coupe, 4 on the floor. I had to learn to drive a manual tranny. Boy, was that murder! But I fell in love with it. I had a Chrysler Cordoba, not with Corinthian leather, but felt seats and a hood that went on for miles and miles. I had a Dodge Dart, a Plymouth Valiant that I entered in the local car show. I ended up having to buy a Jeep to get around in the snow, but I sure miss my Mopars.

I thoroughly enjoyed this morning's noir and knew right away what scene Eddie was referring to. Welcome back, buddy! I do question the number of liquor bottles behind him. My god, man. Did you empty them all yourself??? I love Eddie's comments. Plenty Kailua sombrero mix.
