I am trying to find the name of a movie that i watched years ago its basically about a man who marry's a rich woman and plans to kill her to inherit her money by taking her on a canoe ride in a lake filled with croc's he pushes her over thinking that croc's have eaten her but she survives and spends years recovering and having plastic surgery to her face to change her identity she returns to her house where only her horse really knows who she is then finally her maid she then stays in the house were her husband thinks she is a guest of the maids he had remarried to a girl he loved all along she then finds out that her husband had only married her for her money she then reveals her self and shoots and kills him. I would have sworn that the title had the word river in it but not sure. I watched it in the early 80's. I remember it being about 3 hours long a 2 part movie. Can someone please help me find this movie I have never forgotten it.
