[Looking for the title of a movie]

Location - Somewhere in a jungle; English are clearing the land for some unknown reason. They use women from the neighboring city to use as interpreters for the local workers; The managers inevitably fall in love with these women. A new manager comes with his fiance and he falls in love with his interpreter, which is taboo. She gets pregnant with his child and they, after alot of drama triumph.

 

Also, his father or prospective father-in-law, also a manager in this jungle atmosphere, is the father of the woman he loves. Please help. This is all I can remember and I think the location is supposed India or Sumatra or an island country.

I just saw a movie called Kid Glove Killer. It stars Van Heflin and Marsha Hunt and I think it was the first movie to use Forensics to solve crime.
