I think that if you go the route of Doug McClure movies of the 70's you will find it. There were several movies in that genre.

Trying to figure out name of Black and White Movie that has played on TCM. It is about a couple that end up buying a house on a cliff that they find is haunted by two ghosts one that carries a scent of perfume in the downstairs of the house and the other is chilly cold in the art studio upstairs. It also involves the granddaughter of the original owner who believes the ghost to be that of her mother. Appreciate help on Movie Title or Actors.
