*Lon Chaney, Jr. Hollywood Walk of Fame ?Star Fund?* [] The Lon Chaney, Jr. ?Star Fund? was established to help the Chaney estate raise funds and awareness to procure a star on the ?Hollywood Walk of Fame.? Each year, an average of 200 nominations are submitted to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame selection committee. The committee awards a star to approximately 20 celebrities, but only one celebrity is chosen for the posthumous star. This is a difficult decision since there are so many deserving individuals.
