Looks more lascivious to me, but what am I?
She dated a rock group.
Ok, not all at the same time.
-
Now, seriously, how can you tell if a puppet looks French?
Anyway, she isn't, but you're getting closer.
She was part of the rock scene, too.
-
Nope. She wasn't English, but she was part of the mod scene there.
-
Hahaha! That's good. No, I'm sure you were sincere, but I didn't expect you to take off on the hand puppet (I always liked Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, and was saddened when she died).
The lady in question is most known for her work in the 60s.

But the thread is not pre-1950. It is pre-1960. Or it bacame so when the Post 1950s thread was established for the benefit of moviewatchers who were not so familiar with the Floradora Girls.

Ever walk into the middle of a half-finished conversation?
No, not the doll, the doll:

>it was a color film and the photo was b&w, so it's deceiving
Of course it's deceiving. The idea of these threads is to deceive, to present a pic of an actor that doesn't quite look like them. The enjoyment derives from puzzling them out, like this:

-
The title of that other thread reads, in part, "Post 1950s." I interpret that to mean after that decade. So stuff in the 50s goes in this thread. like the pic I posted of Keith Andes.

What's wrong with Moira Shearer?
-
That's her! Congratulations! And the movie and the young man?

No. She's a red head.

I don't know who the boy is, the lady is English.
Now I know who he is. He's fair game, and English.

Maybe the fact that bases are occasionally returned to host countries is an indication they are not U. S. territory. I can't imagine the U. S. ever returning ground it considered it's own. I wonder if we still claim the emabssy ground in Iran as U. S. territory?

Not either of them. Keep trying.

Monica Vitti as Modety Blaise.

>I know..the boots threw me too..and those tight pants, I mean, c'mon..
All part of the ingenious design to baffle, confuse, and frustrate potential solvers. One of my most successful gambits. I do believe a lot of the movies Mr. Law appeared in were European productions.

She will be a good Democratic Senator.
Satiric comments about politician-entertainers were meant to be impersonal, with no implications about any particular one. References to the chimp-associated politician were tacitly assumed, perhaps too tacitly.

Is there any place on the TCM site where a list of the movies shown on Underground can be found?
-
Oh, yes, yes, please. And consulates, and military bases, too?
-
Here's the original link. It wasn't impersonal, so I thought is was ok:

Oh, that face, that fabulous face II - Post 1950's. Whose is it?

She did more than act, she co-wrote one she was most known for.
She does not have an extensive filmography, even if you include her recent ones.
