  1. If this is the photo you refer to: That is Britt Ekland. The photo on the right is of her as of 2008.
  2. Wow, the people here are good. You got her! Might as well post this, while I'm at it:
  3. No. Some kind of game show reference? Oh, something to do with Dr. Who. He was one of Who's tagalongs? Edited by: slaytonf on Feb 20, 2013 10:14 PM
  4. Sorry to hear that, a great actor. Might as well spout his name.
  5. Yes Nora, it's Nova! Did you get my quip about not knowing too much about her? Pretty clever, huh? One more face:
  6. Regardless of whether people today like musicals or not, they were a huge part of the studio film industry from the beginning of the sound era. And Donen was second to none in the development of the Hollywood musical in it's golden era.
  7. Here's Twiggy's filmography: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0493341/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
  8. Why don't you want us to identify the second woman? She's one of the few I recognize. Dang.
  9. Hair? I thought that was an invading alien life form that clapped onto women's heads and controlled their thought processes. I still don't know her name.
  10. Don't nobody know or care who this guy is? Need a clue? or are you game to guess?
  11. Oh! Oh! You got me! Stabbed to the heart! Goodby, Horatio. I'm not long for this world. . . . hard to breathe. . . .(cough, cough). . . .light fading. . . . .everything dim. . . . .
  12. Well, there you go. You don't have to like a movie to recognize it's quality or importance. There are many important or well made movies I simply don't like, Last Year at Marienbad, for instance. I know it's a great film, but I never get past the first fifteen minutes of it. There are even great movies I like, but I don't watch them often. I consider Metropolis the greatest film ever made, yet I watch it less than once a year. On the other hand, there are films I watch a lot which I know are not much, but I like them, and I have fun watching them. There you go.
  13. Gosh you make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Norachas, you got him!
  14. >VX: >It was definitely a product of its times, but I think it holds up very well. One of the things I like about it is it's capture of the Mod London atmosphere.
  15. Thanks, VX! It's so rare to get unqualified approval.
  16. He looks like he could have played Poirot, but I don't think he ever did.
  17. I've been watching Paul Robeson films and films of Jean Gabin
