Now I'm not so sure. Am I sure? Yes, yes I am. I know I am.
Um. Anyway, it's not Marlene.

Now, I'm sure about this lady.
I think.

Not that it's going to be hard.

15% of Republicans use Macs, but only 10% admit to it. 15% of Democrats use Macs, but 20% claim it. And 50% of intelegent people use Macs. The other 50% are too stupid to know better.

Well, no need to get another pic, now.

Then you might look to your computer, or your browser. I've heard Mozilla Firefox is good, and it seems to work as good as Safari for me. I also ocasionally clear the cache and cookies, that helps, too.

Yikes! I've been fooled again by those nefarious gremlins of the internet. It seems you are right, but that is not who I was angling for. I'll find another pic of the proposed lady.

Did they tell you to take a speed test? I have a wireless router, and with it I get a download speed of 13 megabits per second (I think it's megabits). With a hard wire connection I get a download speed of 25 MBPS. The upload speed is the same for both.
One more thing, for anybody that knows. For PCs, people talk about defragmenting, or defragging, which I think is rearranging the data on the hard drive so it isn't split up in different pieces, allowing the computer to work more smoothly. I have been told by the people at the Apple Store that when my Mac starts freezing up, I should repair disk permissions. They never clearly explained what this was, so I don't know if it's the same thing as defragging. Does anyone know about this?

Yes, Dudley Diggs, one of the premiere specialists in oily characters.
And this lovely lady?:

-
No, I am not here during the day, as I have to work, an annoying necessity. But it is Jean Marsh, our dear old Rosie. Congratulations!
Now, who's this?:

-
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. Now I know why I need to keep my JavaScript on. I will keep my Java off.
-
It won't show up on TCM for a few months at least, but watch for it. It will be aired again.
-
Him? Nnno. Her? Mmmno.
I got it!:

On my browser--Safari---I have two options: Enable Java, and Enable JavaScript. I turned them both off. I found I could not access Hotmail, and I had to opt for the basic HTML view of gmail. I could not view videos on YouTube. I could search just fine on Google. I turned JavaScript back on, and everything worked just fine. So what's the difference between Java and JavaScript?
-
Thanks all for the info. I will try disabling Java on my browser and see what happens.

So does anyone know this lady? Or do we need a clue? I do.

You're speaking of PCs, I assume. I have a Mac. There is something recommended for us eccentrics, and it's called repairing disk permissions. I don't know if this is the same or analogous, but it gets my sluggish PowerBook running somooth.
But still, what is Java for? Is it for opening documents, pdfs, and videos? like Adobe?

You know, I just occurred to me, Mel Brooks should produce "Springtime For Hitler" on Broadway. If it's as good as the little snippets we get in the movie, It should be a smash hit. Of course, there's no Dick Shawn anymore.

You are not alone.
-
-
Yes, it does, now that you mention it. Of course, it's another fine lady.

If everyone is so down on Java, what is it's use?

Oh, that face, that fabulous face II - Post 1950's. Whose is it?
