That's the kindest, most decent and generous response I've ever gotten to a post I made. You are right.
-
I can't tell, did anyone have a guess at the pic I posted?
-

Hey, that's close. Maybe I got skunked again.
No, I think not.
-
Ah, an example of the Forward/Reverse Field Theory effect.
-
If that's Susan Denberg, who's this?:

-
I do have to work, you know.
OK, somebody should get this easy:

-
You were the first to name her! It's up to you to duke it out with the Kid for honors.
-
Is there no face you don't know? At long last, is there no face you don't know?
-
-
You know your faces, man.
Know this?:

Yes, this looks too much like her, but it's a great pic.
-
How does it feel, in this automibile?:

-
Oh, might as well name her.
-
While we're waiting:

-
I wouldn't mind even if you didn't know her.
-
That was too obvious. Name the movie?
Nevermind. Hoow abooout this?:

-
I think what Dargo2 was referring to was the Reverse/Forward Field Theory.
-
How about something more obvious?:

-
This so does not look like her. I thought, this is some other face, mixed in through googlechance. I carefully compared it with more recognizable photos until I was sure.
And you get her in sixteen minutes.
Less, 'cause you had to see her and post.
Mmmph.

OK, post 50s thread. Got it:

-
The star is so distracting. . . .My best guess is Barbara Stanwyck.
But wait, I just saw it is the post 50s threadle. I am out of the time.

If you can't find it anywhere, keep an eye out for it on TCM. It shows occasionally.
-
Sorry about the belated confirmation, but J, D. Cannon it is!

If I understand what Sepiatone means, there is a scene in The Court Jester where the forward/reverse gimmick, I would call it, is used. During the sped-up knighting ceremony, Danny Kaye is dragged along in a line of soldiers which is reversed and forwarded multiple times.

Oh, that face, that fabulous face. Whose is it?

Musta overlooked it. No, it's not her.
