About a year ago I first saw the 1950 movie "Decision Before Dawn" & I loved it! And I have tried every way I can to figure out who the real Karl Maurer was. Before the movie there's a notice that says the names of the people have been changed. But in his introduction Ben Mankiewicz talks about the director of the movie visiting the real Karl Maurer's parents. So clearly there is record out there of who he really was & if anyone knows his real name or how I could find it out I'd really appreciate it!!

There was a movie I watched on TCM late one night when I was a little girl but I can't really remember it. Only bits and pieces of it and a part that I think was the end. I remember something about a man & a woman. In one scene the man & woman are walking through town talking & they come on a crowd listening to a man. Either a preacher or a politician. I think it was black and white. And I honestly can't remember anything about it for sure. I'm thinking that it was a world war 2 movie and that they were airmen who were shot down behind enemy lines. But thats all I can remember and I'm not even positive about that. All I know is that I saw it a long time ago and its been stuck in my head but all I can remember is that one part from the movie.

There's a movie stuck in my head but I only remember one part of it.
