Thanks Raquel I fogot to put the time zone in, however, I am more confused than ever. I have been using the "daily" schedule and not the "weekly" as previously in this thread this was the most likely (though random) place where Shorts would be listed. The Shorts I listed were not in the "daily" shedule when I posted, they are now. I did not check the "weekly". So now I need to check the "daily" and the "weekly" and it also seems at different times during the day...? I guess this is harder than it seems at the TCM elf end. :-(

Aha! I have been going here for the schedule: http://www.tcm.com/schedule/index.html?tz=est&sdate=2011-07-14 and it does not list this short (or any?). That this schedule is different from the monthly one you listed makes NO sense to me.... :-)

Thanks MN, I am trying to figure out where this is in my time zone, AZ. There is a 3 hour difference so that would make it 4:48PM here which means that this will be tacked on to the end of the "Bride Wore Red" which is scheduled from 3PM to 5PM ? The length of the the Bride Wore Red is 103 minutes (IMDB) so depending on the length of High Spots this might be tucked in nicely at the end? P.S. How did you find out when this short was scheduled?

Wonderful film, but at about 48 minutes the aspect ratio changed to lo def (?) and stayed that way till the end of the film? It started out on my 16:9 TV with small borders all the way around ( 1.85:1) and then shrank about 1/3 to large borders all the way around....screw up at master control? That is a really good answer that I hadn't thought of... However since I only watch TCM as an HD channel I have come to expect that they won't pan and scan since they have the technology to (more or less) leave the aspect ratio alone. I can't imagine "The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!" in P&S and it was also part of the 1967 film era. I am happy that TCM doesn't do this too often and would have preferred the aspect ratio be as close to original as possible. Sometimes they even windowbox as they did the original Casino Royale (1967) which was 2.35:1 couldn't figure out that one either. :-) It's a mystery and you're right, it was still enjoyable as it was broadcast.

Fun movie, saw it in a theater when I was a kid.... *Why though was the aspect ratio 4:3 instead of what I expected a letterboxed 1.85:1 ?* This happens rarely with TCM but I can't figure out a good reason they would have done this....
