Quite some time ago, I saw an old British B&W movie about a house and the story it had to tell of it's inhabitants--it seems to me that in the end it was bombed during WWII-- I want to say it was '10 North Fredrick'--but I know that's wrong-- Wasn't '10 North Fredrick' a May-December romance with Teresa Wright and Gary Cooper??? Anyway, the movie I saw about the house had me in tears and the end and I would really like to know the title so that I can watch it again sometime--I'm sure I saw it on TCM... Thanks in advance!!!

Quite some time ago, I watched an old 'British' movie with Carole Lombard (?) as a nurse--there was some sort of epidemic and the hospital she was working at was quarantined... I thought it quite good and I was dumbfounded that Ms. Lombard was in a serious movie, much less a British one. Anybody know what movie this was?

My son tells me about a great old movie, 'London After Midnight'--I'm thinking Lon Chaney is in it-- He tells me it is very good and VERY scary! Has anyone out there seen or heard of it? I am new to this forum, and I will try and keep my eye out for any replies. Thanks!
