  6. In IB History of America's last school year (my junior year) we learned a lot about all that you mentioned. Cold War, civil rights and social movements, and of course the crisis of communism. There was definitely an ugly side to the 1950's, just like every other generation. However, i like the 1950's more than any other... what can I say?
  7. I mean, yeah I get what you're saying. But back then, it was common-place for men (and women for that matter) to dress up to seemingly "casual" events.
  8. I say the 1950's ... men were clean cut, debonair gentleman, who dressed in suits to baseball games. People for the most part had morals, and lived by them. Plus, I would have loved to have been swooned by someone that looked like Cary Grant :x
