*The Gold Of Seven Saints*

re mr. guitar:
yeah, uh, what he said.

Correct, finance. All were unseen characters; talked about, quoted, sometimes, but never on stage. One exception: "Ralph" the dog was sometimes on stage, but he was invisible.

"You're bloody right I said nothing, you peasant! I haven't been given my CUE!"

Correct, lavender. There are several films from the same general time period that fit that pattern. Warner Bros. providing off-season exposure to their series stars, as the traditional studio system went through changes. lavender's thread.

#10. The film ends, differently from the novel, with the trial Judge becoming the party's candidate, although he was not actively campaigning.

All I can offer is the fact that "Allied Artist Pictures" is listed with the credits of all four titles.

Lake, Felica (aka "Bunny") -- Anna Massey in *Bunny Lake Is Missing* (1965)
-
Prosecutor -- The actor had a series out West where he had a brother.
Judge -- The actor had a series set on the West Coast (contemperary at the filming) where he had a partner.
A supporting actor had his debut in this film, and he had a future that involved a long-running series where he had a family and a place, and then another series where he had a small-town law enforcement department to run. (Not, as with the others, from the same studio.)
-
Were these films all funded or bankrolled from the same source?
-
...and somewhere I ran across a story about an actress who asked Himself about a move or a line reading or some such, and Hitch replied, "_____, dear, fake it."
Is this thread open or what?

Believing this thread too is released by thestick,
This scrap of conversation:

Got it, Sixes, at just over 100 Views. This excellent film simply got overshadowed by the powerful remake, *Red Dragon.* But the original "Hannibal the Cannibal" and Francis Dollarhyde (Brian Cox and Tom Noonan) were very convincing monsters in their own right.
Sixes' thread.

Favorite line from movie.
