  4. Retiring the question to turn this thread back to posters who make more traditional use of it. Kris Kristofferson in one of the title roles of Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, acting out Billy's escape from custody in Lincoln, NM. He was tracked down and killed by Garrett some months later. The more traditional musical tasks, and the actual soundtrack of the film, were handled by a fellow cast member, Bob Dylan. Open thread.

  9. HOW TO DELEATE: When you are logged in on the site, each of your entries has an extra symbol at the upper right corner. It is a tiny logo of a pencil, on a white background.   10. The performer in this scene is a musician/composer/singer as well as an actor. But another man in the cast, with many more "soundtrack" than "actor" credits, carried the actual musical chores in this movie, in addition to playing one of the characters.

  21. Based on history, and this escape is an actual event. The deputy dead in the street had been killed with his own shotgun. He had loaded his shells with 16 dimes. Presumably, the impromptu ditty was not involved in the original event.
