  2. Negative. As I use a "Role Call" clue, it is to name a character played by a performer, but to direct attention to that performer in another context. There is a film where the "Todd" actor worked with an actress who played the "Constance" role. Look for a film where these two performers were together.

  3. Setup: The speaker, a hired gun in the employee of a land-grabbing boss, has shot and killed a member of his own gang. Reason: The hero, whom they were tracking, was from the same background as the speaker. He sided with his homey, and then gave his victim a pretty fair funeral oration.
