Didn't expect it to last long. Your thread, Kid.

Newman to Redford in that "Butch & Sundance" romp.

Actually, I felt sort of embarrassed that I did not guess it first and just confirm it by looking it up. I'm able to that sometimes on some of these questions. Next up: Two quotes, same speaker.
"If you want me do a film, it's ?500.000. But if you want me to read the script first, it's ?750.000"
"Actors live in a cocoon of praise. They never meet the people who don't like them."

If there was an unauthorized takeover here, it's my fault. I thought that your post beginning with "The official verdict was..." was a "Yes" to my bringing up Natalie Wood's name. If I was wrong, please say so, and get the subject back to your question.

George Rose is buried in an undistinguished grave near his home in the Dominican Republic.
HAROLD: "How many men these days require the services of a gentleman's gentleman? How many men have your devotion to form, sir? You have managed, in your own lifetime, Mr. Graham, to keep alive traditions that were dead before you were born."
...Mr. Rose's performance as "Harold" in A New Leaf is the only one in his long resume` that I'm sure I remember. And I have gotten no satisfaction trying to get information about what went on in the local legal system concerning his death.

A death by homicide of a talented person in the Biz. Disturbing results.
British actor, born early in the last century. Did movies and TV on both sides of the Atlantic. Quite accomplished in theater (2 Tonys). A lot of work in cartoon voices. Owned a home in England, an apartment in New York city and a vacation home in the Dominican Republic. He was gay. Had a young companion in the Dominican Republic, whom he adopted, in order to have an heir. The young man's biological father approved of the adoption.
When it was learned that he was planning changes in his will, the actor was captured in his car by the prospective heir, that young man's father, and two other adult males. He was held for several hours, then he was beaten to death and put in his car. The car was driven off the road in such a way as to give the impression of an accidental death.
Confessions were obtained within hours. The parties were jailed. But there was never a trial, and they were eventually released. Some aspects of Dominican Republic law were involved in this.

Is this a reference to recently revived questions about Natalie Wood's demise?

Late 1960s. Color. Comedy.

That's a very broad question, with hundreds of possible right answers. Anything to narrow it down? Something about the episode, or about the actress?

Emgee, you are correct concerning the second quote, but I made an error when tried to elaborate things. Tallulah did make the second comment, but she is the subject of the first quote.
You deserve to take the thread, but would you like to also name the author of the "monologue" comment? Sorry about the error.

Bitsy got suckered into it, but she was still game. A win would get her a year's worth of free hairdos.

No, I yield to Edythe. She did the heavy lifting on that question while I was rummaging around in Stan & Ollie notations. Edythe's thread, to use or to open.

LiamCasey seems to be MIA. I feel my answer is correct, even if not the one the poster had in mind. The forsaken husband shouted that question up to Helen, who was standing on top of the walls of Troy. Next up, this passage of conversation:
"Did you get a load of her?"
"Well, I wasn't paying much attention..."
"When she bent over, it looked like she had her knees up inside her dress."
