The practical younger girl occasionally contributes voiceover narration. At one point she points out to the audience the big sister's ability to ignore and deny the growing evidence of her pregnancy.
When forced to face the truth, Big Sister goes to a clinic and asks for an abortion. This is refused because of her age. There is no parent to give approval for the request.

Leaving the building where she had her tryst, the woman is brutally killed in an elevator. The police have the case, and are going through their procedures, but her son, with some nerdy surveillance tricks, helps to solve the case.
