  6. Did all these entities at some point participate in singing "Auld Lang Syne"? The *Great Life* info mentions that it was sung 'by the mob' in the final scene.
  7. Correct, Miles. The interplay between the young couple in the lead roles made a strong basis for this long-running series. And they both racked up considerable Director and Producer credits during the run of the show. Miles' thread.

  11. B&W. British. Mid 1960s. The main thread of the story involves the adults who concern themselves with the baby girl's future.
  12. I should have caught it earlier. At the end of the story, after the con-game team have split the loot, Doc is in found in the casino, not gambling, but watching the stage show. "My Blushin' Rosie" is the featured number at the moment.....Next up: Now fully recovered from a recent childbirth, a young woman is dressed up fashionably and walking down the street. 14. Actress; started in juvenile roles. An Oscar, multiple Emmys, many other nominations and wins. Producer and Director credits also. Had roles in several TV series, including star billing in a well-regarded sitcom that lasted most of the 1990s. In an episode of the 90s sitcom, the central couple were introduced to an early version of experiments with "Virtual Reality" gaming. -- Put on a pair of goggles that also had a sound capability, and the person wearing the goggles seemed to be in a place programmed into the game. The audience shared their impressions: The husband seemed to be in a park where an attractive young woman flirted with him. The wife's program preserved and repeated a recent conversation that she cherished: Her husband was repeatedly heard to admit, "I was wrong...I was wrong...I was wrong..." What actress?

  20. I really regret that I did not start a Views count on this one. A poser on May 28 on the General Trivia Questions Thread brought out the fact that Marlon Brando sought, and did not get, the Defense Attorney role in *Judgment at Nuremberg*. My "post a link" skills atrophy when my son is not visiting. Google the term "Marlon Brando as George Lincoln Rockwell". If it works for others as it did for me, they can view the scene in *Roots, The Next Generation* for which Mr. Brando auditioned and was accepted. James Earl Jones as Alex Haley and Brando as the American Neo-Nazi leader who, surprisingly, granted the Black writer an interview. If anyone wants to post that scene to this site, I would appreciate it. Thread open.
