  1. Dothery;

I'm not surprised that the film I named is not the one you had cited. Seems almost no one else is aware of *Chance Meeting*, but I'm sort of a one-man cult for the film. One of it's featires: Stanley Baker (Welsh). Micheline Presle, (French) and Hardy Kruger (German) are the stars of this English movie. Final scene: Micheline has been arrested for the murder that she committed and tried get blamed on Kruger. Her curtain line: "But I never expected to fall in love with you! Damn you! Damn you!"

    As mentioned, Terrence1 is up.

    *A Dry White Season*

    *The Perfect Storm*

*A Walk in The Spring Rain*

    *Snow Day*

    ...For consideration:

A Wind of Hurricane Force -- 1963 TV episode on Bob Hope Presents the Chrystler Theater. ??

  3. Correct, Sixes. Ms. Tushingham's breakout performance in 1961's *A Taste of Honey* got her a lot of favorable notice as a young unmarried mother, and she has stayed quite busy in British film and TV..Possibly her most widespread appearance was the brief scene as "The Girl" presumed to be the daughter of Dr. Yuri Zhivago and his beloved Lara.

    Sixes' thread.

  4. Addressing TopBilled and others:

Some 2-3 years ago, under another username, I set up a thread on this same subject of ranks. I added police ranks also. I.E, you could use "Inspector", "Chief", etc. Most of these entries were cited in that thread... I can think of only this exception:

    *Major League*

    *Major League II*

*Major League: Back to the Minors*

The housekeeper/cook can not keep up her facade forever. The source novel for this story has, for an opening line, "_____ _____ killed the ________ family because she could not read or write."

The actress in this central role had, in the 1960s, at the age of 19, made a breakout splash with her first film role. Her name was often connected with the so-called "kitchen sink" school of British drama.

  6. During Round 32 ("Money") I was frustrated because none of Agathe Christie's Partners In Crime titles ever used the names of two married detectives -- Tuppence and Tommy.

    *Death on the Nile*

    *The River Wild*

    *Atlantic City*

    *The Missouri Breaks **

...*this title refers to a rough, whitewater stretch on the Missouri River in Montana.
