Julie Newmar wasn't available just for Batman (The Movie) filmed after the first season of the TV series, which actually ran for three seasons. I'm not sure if Eatha Kitt came on in the second or third season.
Lee Meriwether was only in the theatrical release. She had to learn her lines for her upcoming series, Barnaby Jones. So the TV series had just two feline felons.
-
She had a prior commitment in the film Mckenna's Gold. The film must have been held up in production because it wasn't released until 1969.
-
IMDb lists her as 5' 11"

They are all available in their entirety to watch for free.

We are so simpatico on Newmar.

Lee Meriwether as Catwoman in Batman (1966) is rather bland, but I like her as the Miss KITKA character. Speaking of all things BAT, the cable channel HUB used to air the episodes of the entire Batman series and after reading your post I saw that is no longer being aired. These things cycle. I'm so glad I recorded all of them in the past year or so. Holy smokes!!

Agnes' best moment may be her hugging the cold boiler in anguish as she is shrieking to Georgie in The Magnificent Ambersons (1942).

*Actually, they didn't have to pad out Bacall's month.........Hibi*
In fact, TCM didn't do any padding because Bacall had all the necessary padding from her
days as a Tight End....

Ok I'll bring the tar but you bring the nicotine and then we call light up. B-)

Come to think of it, I had no idea Lauren Bacall played football !!

I agree with Michael that the thread that got locked was like a really bad farce more than anything else.
Sword fighting while blindfolded is extremely difficult. :^0

I'm going to disengage. Have fun!!!

Sepiatone incorrectly thought I said things that I didn't.
I didn't find your humour that funny. OK. Please don't continue to berate me.
-
Nice to converse with you, but maybe some other time. B-)

It seemed a bit mocking considering that I said McDees serves up bad product.
-
Why the smarminess? I don't get it.
-
That is a universally horrifying sight....... :0

I said Rumours sold 40 million copies to counter the poster that Back in Black is the best selling non complilaton album of all time. I never said that because Rumours sold that many albums meant that it was great or good in any way. I merely stated its sales numbers.
One can mention a million things that have sold more than a particular album. McDonalds has sold more greasy burgers than any album and most people would conclude that the fast food product doesn't translate into quality. That is so obvious.

My my,. the only time you post to something I've said is to correct me.
However, as previously stated it is correct to say that Bob went on hiatus July 11, 2011 and returned to his on camera duties on December 1, 2011. As clore pointed out that we are both right, we both receive a mint for playing the game.
-
I get it you despise Robert O. but far more people appreciate him for all the times he is correct which is far more often than not and for his pleasant demeanor. He's such a charming man.
-
*To that end, let's keep GB in the GB thread, okay?*
One last volley before we go, Michael, was....... that end....... an unintended pun or an intended one?
Sorry, I could not resist.

Thanks for the mint, clore.

He may make the occasional pronunciation error but no one epitomizes grace and humility more when talking about classic films than does Robert. He is so popular because he subordinates his ego to what is most important, the film itself. He cultivates his friendships with actors and industry people so his on camera interaction is genuine and not stilted.
Would you prefer it if Leonard Maltin brings his personality of warmth to the TCM airwaves?

Actually, Robert started his hiatus on July 11, 2011 and did not resume his on air duties until December 1, 2011.

The Who had a penchant, as did Zeppelin and Dylan, of giving some of their songs titles that had nothing to do with the song. Like "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35"(Dylan) or "Black Dog"(Zeppelin).s
Sepiatone,
You seem to be confusing the post to which I responded. I responded to the above post about the origin of the song "Black Dog" I don't understand your comments about my thinking Zep is the most poplular or best band because I made no statement that anyone was the best. I believe you may have confused me with someone else who was carrying on about ACDC being the best. My sole comment on this was that the song referenced a black girl much as the Stones' Brown Sugar does. Anything else but that did not come from me.
-
Oh I see, you reserve the snide comments to people who you think are incorrect. Well, I feel my explanation has validity. You're entitled to your opinion.
Thanks for sharing.

The buxom comedienne Carol Wayne was 43 when she drowned in Mexico, under mysterious circumstances.
Also Ross Alexander, a recent TCM subject of his films, took his own life at the age of 30.
