  1. Hi I just wanted to ask people, maybe I am alone in this, but in what I've seen of the artist ( the film with all the oscar noms) it totally turns me off. It looks way too stylized for one thing and I don't think it is doing any sort of tribute to classic films at all. Simply taking the gloss of classic film era and re-imagining it for today's audiences who aren't interested in learning the true classics. I wanted to comment that I applaud TCM for doing programming birthday tributes to various actors ( actresses) on their birthdays and I will admit I have not been following TCM online or the channel for all that long ( about a year or so) so perhaps I have missed something, but I wanted to mention that I rather disappointed not to see any tribute programming to William Holden on April 17th. I noticed acknowledgement for many actors recently, many that are lesser known and as I mentioned maybe there has been a tribute in previous years, still I think it would've been a nice gesture.
