You people amaze me with your knowledge, and since I've bugged everyone I know until they're ready to inflict bodily harm, I hope someone can help.
The movie is from the mid to late 60's or early 70's. The major thing I remember about it is a doctor (maybe psychiarist) is blindfolded and taken to a mystery patient. On the drive to the patient, they pass a flock of geese on a lake and the dr. always says something about parties every time they pass. Also one of the guys in the car smokes cigars and ties the wrappers in a knot & tosses it out the window. He remembers all the turns and railroad tracks etc. and eventually manages to find the patient again. It's some kind of political or spy plot. The star MIGHT be James Garner or Rock Hudson or someone of those general looks. Thanks in advance for any help.
