Great pics TriciaNY! I also had the fortune of meeting Tippi a couple years ago. I live only about 30 minutes away from where they originally shot The Birds in Bodega Bay, CA. Every July 4th, Tippi appears at a local restaurant/market and for $20 you can get a picture with her or get a photograph signed by her. I went with a friend and got her to sign my "Birds" poster. All of the proceeds go to her animal rescue shelter. While were were all standing around talking, she told us about the animals in her shelter (mostly big cats) and she's named them all after her leading men!

Hmm. Perhaps, but I usually watch them on my regular television, color and all. I just thought someone might be able to fill me in. I know it is becoming popular to "color-in" black and white films, which I HATE, so I wanted to make sure they haven't started doing that to Hitchcock classics! Anyways, I don't think TCM would accept something that wasn't in its original form...

When I watched it last night I could've sworn the last time I watched it was in black and white. I feel like I would have remembered Grace Kelly's stunning crimson cocktail dress in the beginning, but I didn't! Am I crazy??! ClassicFanBella
