  1. There was a movie that aired on April 13th that ended around 7pm here in CA. I caught the last few minutes but it was having to do with the Louisiana Purchase and had a scene with Napoleon agreeing to the selling of the land to America. Also the last scene showed the French Ambassador speaking with the citizens of New Orleans and reminding them that they were Frenchmen. I looked at the guide but I am thinking there was a schedule change. Can someone provide the name of this movie? Seemed like James Monroe the former American President was a lead part of the piece. I may be off but any help would be great.

  2. I tuned in late but there was movie on that I caught the last 5 minutes off. It was on April 13th and ended right around 7pm here in CA. Never seen it before but it was having to deal with the Louisiana Purchase I am guessing. There was a meeting the Napeleon who agreed to the selling of the Louisiana Purchase and the amount was agreed at 15 million American. The Americans returned to Congress who fought the deal but President Jackson pushed for the deal to be done. Monroe was accussed of treason but was later received as a hero. The last scene showed the French ambasador speaking to the people of New Orleans to remember they were French. What is this movie's name?
